About Hollerbach’s German Market
After two years of planning and a lifetime of dreaming, the Hollerbach family followed up on the success of their Willow Tree Café German restaurant by opening Magnolia Square Market in 2011, with the goal of providing personalized, knowledgeable service and premium quality products to the Sanford community and visiting guests. Naturally, our focus is always on imported German products – beer and wine from over 50 German breweries and wineries, chocolate, Gummi bears, dry goods, condiments, and many other products from familiar brands such as Haribo, Ritter Sport, Knorr, Löwensenf, Maggi, etc. – but we also feature in-house prepared meats, a full-service bakery, a lunch counter with a wide assortment of meats and cheeses from quality vendors, a frozen meat section, even some produce…the diversity of products in our little German deli and shop surprises even us sometimes. 😊
So drop in sometime for a bottle of beer and a freshly-prepared deli sandwich, pick up a few things to make your own German meals at home, or maybe just have an espresso and a piece of homemade Black Forest Cake while you’re out exploring Sanford’s Historic District – all of it served with a side of Hollerbach Gemütlichkeit!

Meet the Store Manager and Bakery Manager/Assistant Manager of Hollerbach’s German Market.
Our Manager, Jaqueline, has been with us for over 10 years and has a wealth of experience in the retail industry. She is from Hamburg, Germany and she’s always on the lookout for new products that remind her of home.
Our Bakery Manager/Deli Assistant Manager , Niky Lengert , I started with Hollerbachs in 2002 as a waitress. As the business grew, Linda asked if I wanted to learn to make desserts. I said yes! Ive served, managed the FOH, worked in the bakery, became lead baker and now Bakery Manager. With my love for the company and always thinking and dreaming of the what’s next,helping to manage the deli was the next step!
Together, Jaqueline and Niky bring their knowledge and experience to our market to bring feelings of Gemütlichkeit for every guest.
